    Excellent win for Sue Bults

bigpicThe Ladies held their annual Open Day in glorious Spring weather yesterday and the event attracted a field of 130. Overall winner was former Lady Captain Sue Bults with an excellent score of 39 stableford points off her 21 handicap. Sue had three pars on the front nine for an outward 21pts and then three on the back nine which included the back-to-back pars on the short 15th and 16th – no mean feat for a scratch player! Leading visitor was La Moye’s Elaine Pushman who carded a level par 36pts off her 5 handicap which included birdies at the 8th and 12th holes. Past Lady Captain Jo Bryon is pictured presenting the trophy to the winner. Mrs Bryon and her sister Annette Farley donated the trophy in their family name - the Benest Trophy.
