Captain Robbie breaks duck!
Win for Royal Jersey in Falklands Trophy

Diary Event

Captain Robbie Messervy finally broke his duck and led a Royal Jersey team to victory over La Moye in the First leg of the Falklands Trophy on Saturday. Despite losing his own match, partnered by Head Professional James Evans, to their counterparts from La Moye, the home team won by the margin of 7.5 - 4.5.
There were some large victories amongst the individual games, none more so than the 7&6 defeat of John Marshall & John Smale by Stephen Rafferty & Henry Hill (RJGC). Apparently, everyone was in good singing voice during lunch!
Now that the first win is under his belt, the Captain will be keen to repeat a win in the second leg at La Moye, in October. Fingers crossed!
