In far from ideal weather conditions at the Royal Jersey yesterday afternoon, the Club was looking to secure a league win for the first time since 2010. Non-playing Captain, Martin Viney, debuted Club Captain Mike Hill, who put in a memorable performance with 34 points. Alongside Johnnie James, Richard & Phil de Figueiredo, Tim Herbert and Mike Labey they achieved 149 stableford points to finish in first place on the day.

Runners-up yesterday were Les Mielles some 27 points behind and Les Ormes were third with St Clement's fourth. The result meant that the Royal Jersey and St Clement's were tied with 29 league points over the six rounds of competition. However, with the Royal Jersey's total points tally some 30+ ahead of St Clement's meant they secured the trophy and title.

Congratulations to Martin and all the players that represented the Club during the course of the season.
